SIXTIETH YEAR - DIAMOND

Diamonds are a staple of the anniversary and general gift lists all over the world.  Try to think right outside the box on this one as I'm sure diamonds have been part of previous gifts. Go to a jeweller who can custom-make items, not just rings.

SIXTY FIFTH YEAR - BLUE SPINEL

Jewellery_070_Sapphire_Commons.jpg

SEVENTIETH YEAR - SAPPHIRE

Sapphire is an easy gemstone to get made into all sorts of jewellery.  Combining Platinum (Traditional US list) and Sapphire would be ideal for this anniversary - they go very well together.

Just make sure you don't get the same thing you may have for the 5th or 45th anniversary!

EIGHTIETH YEAR - RUBY

Ruby is a common jewel that you could get made up in almost anything you can think of.  Why not combine it with Diamond and Pearls (Modern US list) to get something unique?
